WHY and WHO are making C W Games - a Shame for our Nation ?

Dear Mr. Vohra,

Let's understand the basics of our governing system, this very system is sick, and suffering from Cancer in the stream of working, Not from the Origin.

See, when GANGA starts from GANGOTRI > to Varanasi> ? we all know what are the tributries/ Nalaals just add themselves in to the flow and like wise When Govt. comes out with something for the entire Nation, the oppositions bring out the placards- -Mother & Father Rallies - Rath yatras and what not !

On top of the vice address to nation, " Look What sort of water is flowing here, not fit for human or animal usage and our Prime Minister is not doing any thing". Has any Prime Minister of our Nation ever spoiled the systems ?

Where are the Leaders to show them Gangotri and ask Why don't you show  the Nation water at GANGOTRI ?  Why pointing at Mirzapur or Hawara?

What all is going on in Northern Part of our nation, Eastern part of the Nation Burning of Trains ? Govt.Buildings ? Public Proprity ? Our loved Army Officers and  Police-Jawans Killed in the cities and NOT on the Boarders. Who is killing Police-Jawans in the cities and if the Jawans are to be killed by civilens !

Have you ever heared a word on these matters from any Leader ? here, again,  Govt. is made responsible for platting Stones and killing Jawans Vege.Prices? Petrol Prices etc.

So, my dears, IF you want to make Rome..... ? Bring Romans first.. The Rome shall follow... No one is having love for the Nation first If Games are organized in other developing Nations , WHY and who are making Games -Shame for our Nation ? Why not remove them from this Nation to hold the head high.

If, such handful trators are shot in public and system is operated only then we may get the fresh and Clean blood otherwise, we have to live like deaf and dump only.

CWG AND CORRUPTION

Apropose of Mr K.K. Ghei's comments, we all wish that the Games should be held without any problem, as it is a matter of our national pride. However, is there any honest engineer or official who should not fear???

Corruption and CWG

Top PRIORITY is COMPLETION OF PROJECTS. Games cannot give birth to corrupt practices.
Honest engineers or others need not fear.
But escalation is a matter of concern. How can several times cost could be justified.
The individuals and companies responsible for shoddy work and substandard work must be BLACKLISTED.
Our joint front could be a driving force to monitor status of projects in PURELY VOLUNTEER capacity .
None of us is greedy.
Vohra Ji my plea with folded hand is now to kick start our front and directory.

PGC Hearing held today 15ft road grabbing case

In continuation to earlier hearing on 14th july 2010, the order was that XEN MCD will examine lay out plan of Madhuvan as handed over to Asstt Engineer MCD on 14th JULY 2010.
This has not been complied with. Hearing was attended by SE MCD along with other officers.
Our case is that Madhuvan Layout plan was sanctioned by DDA IN 1976/78, services including roads handed over to MCD by our society.
Now this whole case would have been sorted out if CHIEF TOWN PLANNER OF MCD WOULD HAVE FURNISHED Madhuvan lay out plan available with them.
But MCD is not furnishing any plan nor they are contradicting us about copy submitted by us.
We stated that;
Perpetual Sublease of each house mentions existence of 15 ft service road.
225 plots had been supplied with copy of Madhuvan Lay out plan which clearly shows this road.
Electricity poles were planted for electrification of Madhuvan and still poles exist in portion now under occupation of UNIVERSAL PUBLIC SCHOOL PREET VIHAR.
The doors of house no 68 to 77 open in 15 ft road. Now if any body opens door he shall be in school.
MCD AND DDA do not want to speak about PERPETUAL LEASE DEEDS but insist that there is NO ENCROACHMENT.
Next date will be communicated to us by PGC.

East Delhi And CWG

Fate of development is linked with succesful completion of games.
Our area was contempteously referred as YAMUNA PAAR and talked as if residents are from third class strata of society.
No doubt, the influx of population after partition was responsible for mushrooming of unaothorised constructions. The area also suffered on account of its very nature of isolation and low lying topography.
But DDA had no choice. To accommodate population, areas had to be developed as residential pockets, like GHONDA,DILSHAD GARDEN, MAYUR VIHAR AND ALONG VIKAS MARG.
The Asiads saw connectivity and development of South Delhi.
Now CWG have brought METRO,WIDER ROADS and stadias.
It depends on us to make it success by exemplery behaviour.
Our taxis and autos must show that we love our east delhi.
Hope VOHRA JI WILL AGREE TO THIS.

pgc hearing

NXT date is 2nd august 2010 and MCD,DDA TOP PERSONS HAVE BEEN ADVISED TO ENSURE PRESENECE OF CONCERNED officers to be present along with their report.

Our case is that Madhuvan lay out and set back plan duly approved by DDA INDICATES a perepherial road 15 ft wide. This road has been merged by UNIVERSAL PUBLIC SCHOOL PREET VIHAR IN their school plot.

Houses from 68 to 77 have their back doors opening now inside school. Supplose the house owners start keeping doors open then what will happen.

DDA Had sanctione building plans and completion drawings.

Perpetual sublease documents mention 15ft service road in east of each plot beyond whic is PLOT OF PREET NAGAR CO OPERATIVE HOUSE BUILDING SOCIETY LTD.

Now our hope is that next hearing shall be very important for us.

Kindly advise your views

PMO asks Cabinet Secretary to review status of CWG projects

The Prime Minister's Office (PMO) has asked Cabinet Secretary KM Chandrasekhar to review the status of the Commonwealth Games (CWG) projects. According to media reports, the Cabinet Secretary has been tasked with finding out why deadlines were not being met. Aside from dead line being negated, reports have been rife lately about the lapses and rampant corruption in CWG  projects.

Commonwealth Games: Bids rigged, costs hiked and quality sacrificed

NEW DELHI: The Commonwealth Games edifice is crumbling under thickening suspicions of corruption and inefficiency, with the CVC referring one of the several cases of corruption bedeviling the event to the CBI.

The case handed over to the CBI is breathtaking in terms of brazenness: the the successful bidder who got the contract after quoting the lowest amount was allegedly allowed to tamper with figures post-auction so that he could rake in more money than he had initially hoped for. But this is not the only one that may be headed the CBI's way.

As more evidence surfaces of use of sub-standard material, rigging of bids, goldplating and sanctioning of projects which were not needed at all and favouritism in selection of successful contractors, the investigating agencies are going to have their hands full.

The number of works under the CVC scanner has now risen to 16 with revenue implication of more than Rs 2,500 crore. Chances of fresh additions to the "work load" are rated high.

14 Commonwealth Games projects under CBI, CVC scanner

NEW DELHI: With the stink of corruption in several Commonwealth Games projects rising high, anti-corruption agencies of the government -- Central Vigilance Commission (CVC) and Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) -- are keeping a hawk's eye on the execution of schemes whose expenditure has far exceeded estimates.

While CVC has confirmed that it is probing the projects, sources in CBI and Comptroller and Auditor Genral (CAG) spoke of their growing interest in the Commonwealth Games expenditure because of mounting complaints.

Chief Vigilance Commissioner Pratyush Sinha told TOI on Wednesday that CVC was examining the bidding documents of several projects being executed by the Games Organising Committee, Delhi government as well as Sports Authority of India. Sources put the number of projects under the scanner at 14, saying with complaints pouring in, the number was likely to go up.
