One family, One car rule !

We fully support the idea of 'one family one car'.  As every one knows, four-storey buildings are fast coming up in the entire city with stilt parking on the ground floor, but it is commonly seen that people still park their cars on the street, and use the stilt parking for other commercial purposes. Unless strict action is taken against such misuse, the situation is not going to improve. Ram GuptaGeneral Secretary, Priyadarshini Vihar RWA

It has become urgent and Govt. should work on it and make strict laws to enforce "one vehicle one family" all over.  Govt. is very prompt in making amendments in the Constitution in their own interest, but now the time has come in formulating amendments in the interest of the general public in enforcing discipline.  R K Nanda

The formula may not be acceptable to any one.  As an alternative, let there be a strict rule that four wheelers should not be parked on public land/place.  Another option may be that parking of car should be inside the building. Ashok K Bhatnagar

Where is the Public Transport? Why the Babus do not set the trend by travelling in Buses. General Public has no recourse. babus have their own cars as well as cars taken from PSUs and also from Govt. They need to be tamed first.   Anil Sood

Babus and Office staff of Private companies can take initiative and can save dollars for NATION .Sandeep Kapoor

those who are showing off have 2-3-4 cars they are only standing to capture parking spaces and wasting fuel too hence loss to the nation. Sunny

3to 4 cars they are only standing to capture parking spaces in one name sud be taken by govt. K C Garg

Let the elected leaders begin this campaign? Let them move with a single care & share their car with security men. Surrender the extra cars. Surely they will dis-agree like RTI and accused leaders.  Real Native
