Is it the turn of Delhi Mobile towers now ?

No end to tower deadlock in Noida

NOIDA/NEW DELHI: Residents of National Capital Region (NCR), particularly Noida, continued to suffer for the fourth consecutive day on Tuesday as Noida authority and cellular operators were unable to end the deadlock. In Delhi, meanwhile, a meeting of senior Municipal Corporation of Delhi (MCD) officials was called to initiate action against 900 ‘‘illegal’’ cellphone towers.

With frequent complaints of calls getting dropped and low connectivity in several parts of Noida, irate residents called for speedy remedial action. An agitated Gaur Sharma, an RWA member of Sector 53, said he faced connection problems all through the day. ‘‘I couldn’t manage to finish even a single call, and most of these were from important business clients. My brother is getting married and even those preparations are held up due to issues with cellphones,’’ he said.

  1. All these towers have not come in a day.
The top persons to illegal structures need to be arrested and wide publicity must be given.
This looks to be a KANGAROO trial, but no go.
We have to begun some where.
By the way mobile service operators must be fined at least fifty crores and WARNED if OFFENCE is repeated then cancellation of licences.
Debate needs to be launched to high light health hazards.
